MYTH

It’s an issue for the home,

not the workplace

In a recent survey, 20 percent of respondents had left their jobs because of domestic abuse.

In a TUC survey of domestic violence in the workplace, 40% of those respondents who had experienced domestic violence had to take time off work to deal with the effects of violence. 46% also said that domestic violence affected their ability to do their job.
