Time to Talk Day

February 2, 2023 by Aylesbury Womens Aid

The 2nd February is Time to Talk Day. There are many reasons why the impact of domestic and violence can affect mental health, and it’s important to reach out for support.

The Time to Talk Day was created to encourage people to start having conversations about mental health. Their website says: ‘The day is all about creating supportive communities by having conversations with family, friends, or colleagues about mental health. We all have mental health, by talking about it we can support ourselves and others.

We aim to support communities up and down the country to have more mental health conversations than ever before.

We know that conversations about mental health have the power to change lives. Our recent research shows how important open conversations in communities are to support everyone’s mental wellbeing.’

We have complied a list of mental health support available here.

You can find information about our counselling service here.
