Youth Worker
To provide a service primarily for 11 – 17-year-old girls and boys in the Aylesbury Vale area by offering services that focus on their personal and social development needs.
This post is for 30 hours a week in term time only, initially for 6 months. Start Date 2nd September 2019.
We are looking for someone who has had training and experience of working with young people to deliver group work and one to one sessions in the community, schools and youth settings, together with some basic counselling skills.
Applicants need to have an understanding of and a commitment to the work of the organisation, be able to work from a feminist perspective and be able to drive and have use of a car.
Salary: £22,911 – £26,317 (NJC points 15 – 22) pro rata (£15,344 – £17,625)
